The area of the II Republic was 388.600 sq. km, it was the sixth largest land area in Europe. The longest border was with Germany and Prussia, then came the border with USSR, Czechoslovakia, Romanian, Lithuania and Latvia and last but not least was the sea border.
The length of the borders were as follows;
