Administrative areas

The area of the II Republic was 388.600 sq. km, it was the sixth largest land area in Europe. The longest border was with Germany and Prussia, then came the border with USSR, Czechoslovakia, Romanian, Lithuania and Latvia and last but not least was the sea border.

The length of the borders were as follows;

Germany and East Prussia combined - 1912 km

USSR - 1412 km

Czechoslovakia - 984 km

Romania - 348 km

Lithuania and Latvia combined 753 km

Sea border 140 km

The administrative areas of the Republic were divided into 17 districts(Wojewodztwa)
