The Coat of Arms of the Austrio Hungarian period

The Coat of Arms was confirmed on August 27th 1909. The shield is azure with a crowned lion gules, Greek cross crossed obliquely, oak leaves and acorns of natural colour.

Short Description/History

The first mention of the town dates back to 1581. Data about Magdeburg Right was unfortunately not kept.
At the end of XIX century documents were found which confirmed the status of city and presence of the said Coat of Arms. The status of City and the Arms have been returned to village. At the entrance and departure ofthe village were signs with the Coat of Arms and a bilingual inscription "Small town Bialoboznica".
